CPI Number Worse Than Expected

The Y/Y (Year over Year) number came in at 8.6% versus the consensus of 8.2% the M/M (Month over Month) was 1% and consensus was 0.7%.

Inflation is just getting hotter and this next week the FOMC meeting starts. It is obvious that the FED waited too long to raise interest rate to slow down inflation. Would expect another .50% rate hike but should probably be more to help the inflation stabilize sooner.
